Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of SpeakRaja's English speaking-practice website and app. By using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Contact the SpeakRaja operator at devarapalli.gopi8@gmail.com with questions.
The service and eligibility
SpeakRaja offers lessons, practice prompts, audio recording and playback, optional AI feedback, and progress tracking. Guest practice does not require an account. Google sign-in on the website enables account-based progress sync. The current starter service has no payments or subscriptions. Any future paid offering will disclose its price and separate payment terms before purchase.
You must be legally able to agree to these terms. If you are below the age at which you can agree independently under local law, a parent or guardian must review and agree to them and permit your use.
Accounts and saved progress
Use a Google account you control. Keep account access private. You are responsible for your use of the service and should contact us if you suspect unauthorized account access.
Signing in moves this device's guest progress into your account. Only do this for progress that belongs to you. Sync requires network access and may be delayed or unavailable. Unsynced changes can be lost if you clear local storage, uninstall the app, or lose the device. Account reset affects other devices when they sync, including discarding older pending changes. Sign-out does not erase the account cache from your device.
Acceptable use
- Use SpeakRaja lawfully and respect other people's privacy and intellectual property.
- Do not upload recordings you lack permission to share, impersonate others, or attempt to access another person's account or data.
- Do not distribute malware, disrupt the service, exploit vulnerabilities, or bypass authentication, usage limits, or security controls.
- Do not automate abusive requests or use the service to generate unlawful or harmful content. Report suspected security issues privately to our contact address.
Your content and our materials
You retain your rights in the recordings and other content you provide. You give SpeakRaja and the service providers involved permission to process that content only as needed to provide the requested functionality, such as transcription and feedback, and as described in the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for having permission to submit it.
SpeakRaja lesson text, branding, software, and other materials may be protected by intellectual-property rights. You may use the service and its learning materials for your personal practice. Any separately published software or third-party asset license continues to govern the materials it covers. These terms do not transfer ownership of SpeakRaja materials to you.
AI feedback and third-party services
Speech recognition and AI feedback can be inaccurate or incomplete. Feedback is for language practice, not professional advice, an examination result, or a qualification. It does not reliably assess pronunciation, vocal clarity, or fluency, and we do not guarantee improvement, employment, test scores, or any particular learning outcome. Review suggestions before relying on them.
Google, Supabase, hosting, speech, and AI services have their own terms and privacy practices. Features may depend on their availability, your device, browser support, network connection, and permissions. The Privacy Policy explains the principal data flows and providers.
Availability and responsibility
The service is provided on an "as available" basis. We may change, limit, suspend, or discontinue features, including AI feedback, for maintenance, security, operational, or legal reasons. Usage limits can apply per network or across the service. We may restrict access for misuse and you may contact us to ask for a review.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation, the accuracy of generated feedback, or preservation of every local or synced record. To that same extent, we are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, or limits your mandatory consumer rights. We do not require you to waive those rights.
Stopping use and deleting your account
You may stop using SpeakRaja at any time. You can clear guest or account progress in Settings. To request deletion of the account itself, email us from the address associated with it; we may verify ownership. Account deletion does not remotely erase offline device caches. See the privacy choices and retention details for what is removed and how to clear local data.
Changes and contact
We may revise these terms as the service changes. Updated terms will appear here with a revised date, with additional notice where required by law. Review the current terms before continuing to use the service after a material change.
